Napoléon vu par Abel Gance (1927)
The greatest classic of old cinema!
Simply one of the greatest movies in movie history! A classic that everyone should watch at least once in their life. Highly recommend.
How can this movie be so good ?!
I do not understand! How can such a movie be so good? The movie has a weak argument, actors who are not that good, cliché characters, but even so, the movie can only be fabulous for the soundtrack. I don't understand, but I highly recommend it.
Dance of the Vampires (1967)
One of the best horror and comedy movies of all time.
Undoubtedly, this movie is capable of being one of the best horror cinema classics and from the 60's it is also undoubtedly one of the best films of Roman Polanski. Highly recommend.
A Van Damme classic.
The movie may not be such a good movie, I mean, the argument was weak, the soundtrack was nothing special, the special effects were good, but still, it's just another action movie full of fight and more fight; But even so, the movie is a movie classic and I recommend it.
Not really my style of film ....
The movie itself is even quality, the argument is simple, but the actors are good, the direction is also very good, the songs are good and the dansa scenes are well done, but ..... I can't like it so much of this movie, just because it's not my style of movie, but if this is your style of movie, you'll probably enjoy it.
Queen Live at Wembley '86 (1986)
The best concert of the Queen!
I'm sorry I couldn't be in the last and best Queen concert, the best band ever! Without a doubt a concert to be remembered by all music lovers.
Queen Live in Rio (1986)
One of the greatests concerts of one of the greatests bands.
Undoubtedly one of the best concerts ever made by the Queen, a concert that I would have liked to have seen with my own eyes, besides, it is important to remember that this concert was the cause for Rock in Rio to be created, and that part where they play Love of My Life .... is one of the most beautiful moments of the Queen.
Slavery has always been a sensitive subject for society, this series was one of the first productions to approach this ashamed without fear of hiding facts, something that I think everyone should admire, maybe the series exaggerated a little in some ways. subjects, but still, it's one of those series that I think everyone should watch.
Kunta Kinte, is one of the characters I admire most, is someone who has always fought for his freedom, and for the freedom of others (although he didn't have a good result for him), but something he does, he always kept his real name. (whoever saw the show knows what I mean). Highly recommend.
Coming to America (1988)
Undoubtedly, "Coming to America" is one of those movies that makes anyone laugh every minute of the movie that passes! The movie is simply hilarious, full of clever and even very funny jokes. Eddie Murphy undoubtedly stands out for his beautiful and unforgettable roles, by the way, all the characters in this movie are really hilarious. A comedy classic, I highly recommend it! Without a doubt one of those movies that everyone should watch at least once in a lifetime!
A violent masterpiece !!
Honestly, I don't think I hear a movie that makes me think so much, this movie really makes us understand psychopaths, and it also makes us think about how our society is very easily influenced by villains like Joker, honestly, I think anyone who be minimally influential should not watch this movie. The movie is undoubtedly not recommended for sensitive people to physical violence and psychology (which is what this movie has the most), after all, this movie was so violent that there were people leaving the theater in the middle of the movie.
The film is undoubtedly very well done, with very good special effects, fantastic make-up, good actors (most notably Joaquim Phoenix and Robert DeNiro), a fantastic photo and a fabulous edition! A movie really worthy of winning an Oscar.
"Joker" is really a masterpiece, I have to admit I was low on expectations when I was told they were going to release a movie of this fabulous character (mainly due to Joker's poor depiction in "Suicide Squad"), but the movie is fantastic giving a fantastic origin story for the character, one thing I always liked about Joker, was that he never revealed his true story, and this movie really did a good job of telling his story, and the references they make to the stories Batman's (especially the 1989 version) make this movie an even better work. I want to remind you again that this movie is not for everyone, people with problems, young people, sensitive people and / or easily influenced people should not watch this movie (I'm sure there will be some psychopath identifying with the history of this movie) .
The Mad Doctor (1933)
The most sinister short of Disney ever.
The short is pretty good, the animation is pretty good, the argument is good and Mad Doctor is capable of being one of the best villains in Disney history, although not good for kids if you are over 10, I recommend .
Doctor Dolittle (1967)
One of the best movie adaptations ever.
It may not be the best movie ever, but it certainly stands out in the comedy and musical genre. The movie is undoubtedly a classic from the 60's, one of those classics to do with the family. Highly recommend.
One of the best concerts of the Doors.
The Doors are not the best band ever, in my opinion, but they are a good band, and I think this concert was one of the best they ever did.
Live Aid (1985)
The biggest concert ever !!
To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the music of my generation (I was born in 2004), until I like one or another song, but the songs I really like are from the 80's and 90's. I think everyone knows what Live Aid is all about, but if you don't know it, it was a great concert that brought together the most famous musicians of the time it was made, such as Queen, Elton John, U2, David Bowie, among many others. If I could go back in time, no doubt one of the places I would go would be Live Aid.
So bad it's even good!
"Killer Klowns from Outher Space" is one of those horror and comedy movies at the same time, sometimes that works out, but that's not the case. Although this movie is funny at times and quite creative at others, but in general, I think the movie is simply absurd, I realize some people like it, but this is not just my genre of film, I don't recommend it.
One of the weirdest movies I've ever seen.
It's capable of being one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen, and I don't say this as a bad thing, but as a good thing, the story of the movie really gets us thinking. In this movie there are two villains, Sue, obviously and Carrie's mother; Sue is just a spoiled, young girl who wants attention for herself and can't handle life's defeats, and Carrie's mother is a woman obsessed with Christianity, not really understanding it, just doing the wrong thing, sincerely, I think she's the real villain in the movie. The movie is quite good and I highly recommend it.
A good movie, from a good series.
In my opinion, "DuckTales" is one of the best series in movie history, of course one day they would have to adapt this fabulous series to the big screen, that day came in 1990, and it was fabulous. The film tells a very captivating and entertaining story, capable of pleasing everyone. Highly recommend.
The typical action movie of the 80's.
A classic of action movies. The movie has fantastic special effects, a simple but good story, good actors and good characters. Highly recommend.
Day of the Dead (1985)
One of the best zombie movies.
The movie is capable of being one of the best horror movies of the 1980s. The movie has fantastic special effects, a good screenplay and a fabulous soundtrack. Highly recommend.
I don't understand who had the "beautiful" idea of making a movie about a killer car.
The movie makes no sense, after all, the story is full of holes, it makes no sense and is very boring. The idea of making a movie about a killer car is bad enough, but the movie got worse, after all, the story makes no sense at all. I don't even know how the film has such a good rating. I do not recommend.
Swamp Thing (1990)
Probably the best live action superhero series of the twentieth century
Unfortunately, the live action series of superheroes of the 70s, 80s and 90s were not very good, while the animated series continues to conquer today's public, the live action series only got a few people in the past these days these days were practically forgotten. But in spite of everything, this series is capable of being the best of all Super Action Live Action series of this era, mainly because of the enhancement of the actors, the special effects and the script.
The Freshman (1990)
Not sure what to think of the movie.
Honestly, I'm not sure what to think of this movie, the movie entertains, it's a good comedy, but I think it could be a lot better. There was a lot of potential to do a comedy about Italian mafia, but the movie did not take advantage of it. The movie merely enjoyed Marlon Brando's success with Vito Corleone in "The Godfather" and Matthew Broderick's success as Ferris Builer in "Ferris Builer's Day Off" by joining a copy of the two characters in a silly, humorous comedy. . Although the movie even makes us laugh at one point or another, the movie is usually a huge disappointment. Highly recommend, although there are better movies to see.
A good comedy/horror movie.
While there are better movies to see, I think this is one of the best movies to combine horror with comedy, not the best but good. The movie's argument entertains and is quite catchy and original. Highly recommend, unless you're afraid of spiders.
Without doubt one of the best works of Tarantino.
One thing we all have to agree with, Tarantino's movies are all good, some more and some less, but none of them can be considered bad, and "Once Upon a Time .... in Hollywood" was no exception. The movie is fantastic, the actors are fabulous, especially Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, who play fabulous roles; The argument of the movie, really is not for everyone, the first part of the movie, is more interesting for those who are interested in old Hollywood, the second, I think it satisfies everyone, this movie, cannot be compared to other Quentin Tarantino films. , like "Pulp Fiction" or "Fight Club," because they don't have such a stirring or violent story (even though the ending of this movie is the most violent scene I've ever seen). Another thing that really makes the movie so good is the way Tarantino uses the magnificent characters, how Tarantino discreetly references 50's and 60's movies, and his own. Something that I find striking was the narration that Tarantino put in the middle of the movie, only halfway, in my opinion, the narrations are often extrusive and unnecessary, but Tarantino did the impossible, put a good narration in just one scene of the movie, Something impossible and unbelievable. I really recommend it a lot.
A good documentary.
One thing I find strange, as it took so long to release a documentary about the franchise "The Godfather", that is, the first movie of the saga was released in 1972 and the documentary was not released until 1990, well .... of course it was I was relieved on this date to be able to "advertise" the third film in the saga, but two films so good and important to the history of cinema should have had the right to have a documentary earlier.
Now, speaking of the documentary itself, I think it's one of the best documentaries in the history of cinema, both by its theme and the way it's done. Highly recommend.
