Im the kind of ghost that likes to watch about any kind of film.
Every 100 or 250 films I'll watch a special film whether good or bad as long as its special to me I'll watch it. Every 500 films I go through all my ratings and change my ratings and ranks as my opinions have changed over time.

Tenki no ko (2019)
Shinkai does it again!
Saw this film at the preview screening Fanthom event. This film was a great follow up to the massive hit Your Name and I think does a great job of showing that Ghibli and Miyazaki aren't the only names to look into when it comes to Japanese animation. RADWIMPS is great again providing the soundtrack which is honestly one of my favorites of the decade for a film. Safe to say I'll be buying a Blu-ray of this when it releases here in North America.
Rant Time! Btw anybody that says this film is straight up an anti climate change movie needs to think for a sec. One, this film is obviously fictional considering uh There Are No Sunshine Girls People! Two, this is a film inspired by climate change and weather. It infers to people what can happen if we let the world go crazy like it is. the weather throughout is creating a miserable environment for the people of Tokyo so it makes you wonder if that what we want to live with. Three, its a romance fictional movie obviously not sending a message about climate change focus on the films story and film-making not your agenda.
Life of Brian (1979)
Honestly for my 1000th recorded thing on Letterboxd I wanted to watch something I have been waiting for a while now to watch and after watching The Holy Grail I was more than happy to watch this movie. Its crazy thinking how many good jokes they throw into these movies and how much I probably missed in my first viewing.
This will be a movie I will watch time and time again simply because it is one of the very small number of films that made me laugh until i cry. Idk if I would say his film is better or worse but just as good as Holy Grail. Every 100 or 250 I would like to do a movie that is special to me whether I've been waiting for it for a long time like The Room or a movie that is so highly regarded like the LOTR trilogy. Thanks everybody that has followed or looked at my content and here's to the next 1000 films.
This crazy movie starring a crazy actor playing a crazy character was pretty... well
The Clapper (2017)
Good idea with nothing to make it great.
Not to funny but somewhat sweet. Might be better if everybody wasn't dumb or small brained. Strangely has a weird good message. probably won't watch again. forgettable if not for the concept.
The Dictator (2012)
While it does have its funny and well communicated commentary moments the film is executed by the middle of the film and all that is left is a Aladdin performance.
Why was this made?
Honestly I can't say this is the worst thing ever but its definitely one of those movies that you just know is gonna be a train wreck when you see that it copy's the last film and major league at the same time.
Damon in another hit
Matt Damon is great as always as well as Edward Norton. Love the drama in this movie as well as the character interactions. Watch this one if you like Damon, like a gambling drama, or just want a decent 90's movie to watch for the night.
Hell or High Water (2016)
Surprising hit from 2016
One of the best westerns I've seen from the 2010's. The characters and acting are what really drive the film forward and propel it farther then I would have imagined this film would have gone. Gonna be watching this one as time goes on.
One of the best
I've always found it harder to review amazing movies like this. What can you say about a masterpiece of cinema other then it's amazing. Whiplash hits every beat it needs too and blows away anyone looking for a beating of a movie.
Good but could have been better
While the film has its moments this movie doesn't have all the charm and exciting moments I would have expected from a Kuberick film. The acting is well done but I feel like a lot is missing from Hub's character and we miss a lot of his motivation in this movie. Overall its a good movie but I wouldn't rush to see this film again.
What a trip
Well I didn't expect to find a film that I'd love so darn much on the first viewing but dam was this movie a trip (and im not talking about the drugs or the driving to Las Vegas).
Mystic River (2003)
A great acting piece that delves into how people change
Effective mostly because of the performances, the story isn't the most unique or amazing but its how the characters act and how the actors performed that helped this movie be better than it could have been.
Jackie Brown (1997)
Another Tarantino classic
Man Tarantino is an amazing director, he just has had hit after hit after hit and im not talking about the victims in his films.
Schindler's List (1993)
Take a day and watch this movie.
Idk if there is any possible thing I can say that anybody else hasn't said about this film, if you haven't watched it yet have a day to prep and take a day and process this film. its a lot. and thats one of the reasons its so good.
American Psycho (2000)
7 for now but i expect to love it more over time
What a brilliant movie this is, full of everything a good film needs but for me there just feels like there is something missing. Maybe after more viewings I'll begin to love this film more and more over time but for now im just gonna say this film is great.
Uncut Gems (2019)
Welp I have a new favorite Adam Sandler movie, and its name is Uncut Gems.
The Rainmaker (1997)
Underrated late 90's thriller
Matt Damon is great yet again in this court room thriller pinning a rookie against the big bad medical insurance company. I had a lot of fun watching this movie waiting for what was gonna happen next, felt like the ending left a little early but overall this movie was brilliant.
Christmas with the Kranks (2004)
not a good movie lol
Watch this in the background during christmas, still bad but somewhat enjoyable.
Mississippi Grind (2015)
A great movie portraying the problems of Gambling in America
Surprisingly good movie I haven't heard many people talk about. I love seeing the dynamic of these characters going across testing their luck around the country. I don't get anxious with many films but best believe you will get some anxiety from this movie.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009)
Paul Blart Mall Cop
Kevin James continues his streak of starring in a bunch of movies I don't like.
Truly a masterpiece. George Lopez deserved an Oscar for his roles in this movie and it should have won every kids choice award possible smh.
Step Brothers (2008)
A Guilty Pleasure
This is a dumb movie for dumb people like me. And I will continue to chant boats and hoes till the day I die.
Men in Black II (2002)
Got its faults but its still that classic Men in Black
Re watching this film after a long time and still love it despite its faults. got its slow points. will love to watch it over the years.
Murder Mystery (2019)
Not sure about this one, its a mystery how it got made.
The movie is fine, just fine. It isn't very funny and its not a compelling mystery and it has a weird problem where it can't quite figure out if it wants to be serious or comedic all the time.
Interesting but lacks the oomph to be something special
An interesting documentary on a singer I didn't know too much about. One of the things that brought the movie down is it feels like it has problems with the pacing and trouble with lining up the events and when they take place. Would watch again but not any time soon.
