The lead girl in this series is just so ugh. And what is mean is gayish but not in a appealing way whatsoever. Not here to bash that lifestyle, because I've seen some bad ass lesbian lead role films that rock. But this girl's character just make me sick. She annoys me because everyone else around her has a solid look in their role and she comes off ridiculous. I will finish this season because they eps are only a 1/2 hr long. But I will not subject myself to another season of her character because she simply has no appeal whatsoever.
Cruel Peter (2019)The writings always on the wall and yet stupid decisions are always made.
3 March 2020
Dude you and your daughter are seeing dead people and your daughter is finally overtaken by a evil entity, an old lady is about to save her and your dumbass stops it from it happening? The writing is always on the wall with these films and stupid ass decisions are always made by the parents of their possessed children. I'm so tired of lthis lame ass story telling. A very predictable and very forgettable film. Another dumbass father trying to save his daughter so called horror film.....next.
Killer in Suburbia (2020 TV Movie)The whole story is told within the trailer...how sad.
3 March 2020
All you have to do is watch the trailer because the whole story is within it. You know a movie is bad when the edited trailer has all the telling parts of the story. Not that I was going to download and watch anyway but the trailer will save anyone the time on watching......how sad.
Villain (2020)Solid Brit film.
2 March 2020
This was a sold British film about a man who after spending ten years in prison, gets released, only to to learn that his brother has gotten into a bad business drug deal and tries to saves him from the people he owes money to. But the twist comes at the last part of the movie and culminates in the betrayal of a brother's trust. The end scene truly reminds me of the ending of Carlito's Way....solid.
Blood on Her Name (2019)Bad decisions all around.
29 February 2020Warning: Spoilers
A woman who made some bad decisions all around. A very fast moving meh thriller, about a mom who covers for her son accidentally killing a man, but the mother is dumb as hell in everything she does to cover for him. In the end I was glad what happened to her happened because overall she was an absolute idiot. Watchable only once for a Sat afternoon. ..very meh
Jumanji: The Next Level (2019)Nothing tops the Robin William version.
29 February 2020
You can put the Rock, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Danny Devito, Danny Glover, Batman and Robin Superman and all the justice league in them, but nothing and I mean nothing will ever compare to the 1995 version with Robin Williams, Bonnie Hunt David Alan Grier. These other generic blends pale in comparison to the classic original. Gone are the good ole days of good writing and authenticity.
Ne Zha (2019)Epic animation at it's best.
26 February 2020
This was epic animation at it's best. A tale of overcoming prejudice, finding unusual friendship and deciding your own fate. My eyes have never watered up watching animation but this one did it.....yeah it's that's good. It's Feb of 2020 and this has been by far the best film I have downloaded and watched since the year has come in. Do I recommend? Hell to yes! A story that clearly defines the meaning of not to judge a book by it's cover. A story we all can relate to.
The Night Clerk (2020)Could not wait for this crap to end.
24 February 2020
I truly could not wait for this crap to end. First off, you got a hotel employee with Asperger with hidden cameras in the rooms watching guest? And it just so happens he witnesses a domestic violence incident? This was just so wrong on so many levels I don't even know where to start. The minute the screen on my TV faded to black, I came here to warn you all, that this was utterly time wasted. I so don't recommend it.
Hunters (2020– )More of the same ole same ole
24 February 2020
More of the same ole same ole. How many times are we gonna be told this story? It's super tired and super old and worn out. Even with the hunting down Nazis in America twist, it's still a lame ass story. We get already. Watched 3 eps so far and I'm done.
Queen & Slim (2019)Big middle finger to Waithe and Frey for writing a piss poor story.
19 February 2020
This was one of the worst stories ever brought to film. As a biracial man, my blackness has been highly offended to the max watching this. Big middle finger to the writers Waithe and Frey who penned this atrocity to paper, not even explaining the ignorance of the white cop and depicting black people making very poor choices is a major offense. Big middle finger to the editors, and big middle finger to the director. I will never watch another film written by Waithe of Frey ever again.
Black Christmas (2019)Dumb as Sh...t.
16 February 2020
My first horror film of 2020 and this was dumb as sh..t Every last character in the film was assinine. It really doesn't get any worst than this, but it's horror so there you go. I'm not surprised to see a bunch dumb ass college students depicted as domestic terrorists and all murderers. Says alot about the American higher learning institutions. But it's ...whyte America....hello.
Freeway (1996)Before Legally Blonde, this was Witherspoon's greatest role hands down.
9 February 2020
In my opinion, this was hands downs Reese Witherspoon's best role before Legally Blonde. I wished she played more roles like this, (urban, raunchy, touch, the trailer pk side wasn't bad at all neither). After watching this, You can see she has been hollyweird whitewashed (the only way to get an academy award) now. But this role in Freeway truly tells me that she has depth of character for the film industry. This is one of my oldies but goodies I've seen now more than ten times already. Hey Reese, can you bless with a role like this again? No harm in asking.
Knives Out (2019)Boring
8 February 2020
21 Bridges (2019)Best depiction of NYC's finest....corrupt as hell.
7 February 2020
Giving this cop thriller a high rating because of the story and the great performances and the accurate depiction of the NYC's finest, aka the worst. As resident of NY it was quite refreshing to see the crooked ass and highly corrupt boys in blue of NY being shot up and killed on the big screen. Big ups to Chadwick as the honest black detective in the flim. NY police are the FN worst right after Texas..
Servant (2019– )Terribly disgusted by the way the season ended.
21 January 2020
I was terribly disgusted by the way the season ended. Not with a bang, or any cliffhanger or anything remotely decent to have you wanting to wait for a 2nd season. There were just way too many unanswered questions about Dorothy and especially Leanne. It started out very decent, but by the time you got to the last episode, you would've thought that a great eruption of answers would've occurred to cause Dorothy to have snapped out of her world of delusion, and the reality kicks in about whole baby death. No, instead of complimenting the viewers intelligence in the last episode with a great explosive climax, they insult it by keeping the story slow and boring with some dumbass get together after the baptism of Jericho and some cult street gathering sh..t, the end. Wasted time on much ado about nothing. I don't see how this would be picked up for another season. As the old saying goes....fool me once......
Color Out of Space (2019)A film made for everyone to get a paycheck.
19 January 2020
After watching this incoherent mess, it became quite clear that this film was made so that everyone involved would get a paycheck. Cage has completely gone off the deep end in the acid trip sci-fi horror and has lost all credibility of being one of Hollywood's all time oscar award winning legendary actors. I'm ashamed for him. This was just a lame ass flick. A film for the meth heads, pill poppers and the weed smoking community. All others...AVOID!
A Fall from Grace (2020)One of the worst unrealistic films ever!
18 January 2020
Tyler Perry wrote and directed one of the worst unrealistic films ever. Such bad a story and bad acting except on the parts of Crystal, Phylicia and Mechab. This was a low budget play disguised as a film. The story was just assinine, nonsensical and so damn unrealistic. You mean to tell me in 2020 your spouse can just access all you bank credentials, steal the money out the bank and take out a 2nd loan on a house all in a matter of days and no one questions anything, among other unrealistic things?..smh. Best part of the film was the film credits .....lol
Glass Houses (2020 TV Movie)Not a fan of the LMN at all, but this was very decent.
14 January 2020
Not a fan of the LMN at all, but this was very decent. A sweet little film of a dish of revenge being served nice and cold from a smoking hot teenager (Aviva Mongillo) against her pretentious, self absorbed, all about keeping up appearance, no good cheating neighbor, (Bree Turner), for setting her up mother to lose her job. I saw the trailer and it compelled me to download and watch, and it didn't let me down with a bunch of empty banter (all things LMN) from a bunch of dumb ass whyte chicks. This story made sense. A definite go for anyone who likes payback films.
Countdown (III) (2019)Because horror films are so stupid today, I just root for everyone to die..
9 January 2020
The Room (2019)Decent....but.
16 December 2019Warning: Spoilers
Decent but a tad bit incoherent on the part of after knowing the rooms rules. Not asking the room for the right things were nonsensical. If the room provided life, why not ask for that life to exist outside the house. Build a world for you child, that they wouldn't need or want to leave the house. ...lol. Overall decent for a one time watch .
Code 8 (2019)A definite go.
14 December 2019
It's Dec 2019 and I can safely count on both hands films that I've thoroughly enjoyed this year and Code 8 is one of the them. Mid budget Scfi drama at its best. Watchable once and maybe again a year or two from now. A definite go.
Little Joe (2019)What a load of crap.
8 December 2019
I watched this film thinking that it was going to have some great climactic ending, only to realize that this film was a load of crap about nothing. The playbook is stolen from the invasions of the body snatchers, but dumbed down to insult the viewers intelligence with a stupid plant lab, a stupid woman, and a handful of stupid, colleagues. Time truly wasted on this nonsense.
The Courier (2019)Kurylenko and Shah held the film together.
23 November 2019
Kurylenko and Shah held the film together, from all the no talent European contract killers in the film. Their chemistry was spot on. But what's the deal with Oldman lately? He's becoming the next Nick Cage by taking all these shoddy roles. Mulroney's role came alive in the very last scene....OK, but again, shoddy role. Anyway, good action, but story very meh. Good for a one time watch.
Angel Has Fallen (2019)A film Jada Pickett was so not needed in
13 November 2019
Truth be told I thought AHF was going to be a real flop based on the reviews I read. But I have to admit, this was a solid thriller. Good story, good performances, I love how they wrote the character of Nick Nolte, and Morgan Freeman. But I honestly gotta say, Jada Pickett was so not needed in this film, as the FBI agent on the trail of Gerard Butler. Her character was writings so poorly, that all I could take away from her role is that she took the part for the money. Overall decent, action flick, recommendedd to any action buffs who enjoy decent fights scenes and adult dialogue.
Don't Let Go (2019)Frequency and the Butterfly Effect all in one.
13 November 2019
Just watched this film which had the feel of Frequency and the Butterfly Effect all in one. What lacked in story, was compensated by the echo of the two better films mentioned. The cause and effect of each past and present time scenarios, which climaxed to a very decent predictable ending. I stop purchasing theater tickets years ago, so the only thing I spent was time. If you download from torrents, you won't regret the download on this. It was DVD decent.
