Murder Mystery (2019)
Same old Sandler
Started watching this on Netflix. Turned it off after about 10 minutes.
Same old Sandler. He's the exact same goofball in every movie. The jokes were lame and cliched.
Well spent money Netflix.
One Remains (2019)
Low budget trash
This is a very low budget film with not B-, not C-, but D-level acting in it. A ton of student films are better than this.
If you want to waste your time, then watch this. Otherwise just don't.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Too long and slow paced
I was disappointed with this one. It was too long, too slow moving and just wasn't as good as the previous movies.
Well, when there's 22 (or something like that) Marvel movies in a decade, it's hard to get good writing on them all. This was the supposed ending though, so should've been the best of them all.
It was just meh. Average.
There's dozens of these cookie cutter and bland formulaic cop shows out there. I wanted to like this, but jesus christ, it's like every other show out there. Nothing new, nothing to be excited about, nothing to look forward to.
Same old, same old. Come on writers, earn your pay checks.
Break Night (2017)
What's with all these 10/10 reviews by people who have only reviewed this particular film?
Anyway, onto the movie. It's a B-movie. It's not horrible, but if you've seen other crime movies, you've seen all the same clichés countless of times. This movie has nothing to offer that hasn't been done better in hundreds of other crime films.
The lead actor was pretty good, but everyone else were shockingly bad actors.
Watched it today, will forget all about it by tomorrow.
Utterly unbelievable show with no realism what so ever
This show is pretty awful if you want to watch something with even a little realism in it. Nothing in this show seems to be based in reality.
The young firefighter would have been fired on the spot when they found out he used a firetruck to get laid. There's no coming back from that, not when he got caught a second time for the exact same infraction.
The police sergeant would not be handling normal calls on her own like she's doing and her monologue in the plane about CEO's was utterly ridiculous. She seems to be a one woman police force of her own. No need for a whole police force when you have sergeant what's-her-name who can handle everything.
Just watched a few minutes of episode 6, but now I've finally had it with this show. Won't watch even a second more of this abomination. Paramedics taking phone calls from 911 operators on their personal cellphones in the middle of trying to save peoples lives. What? It's happened in previous episodes, and I let it go, but when every episode has the young guy answering his phone in the middle of an emergency, then that's it.
I wanted this to be great because I usually like these kinds of shows. The writing on the show is just awful and full of Hollywood clichés.
Confusing for a Pacino fan
This was a weird one for me. I've been a fan of Pacino since the early 90's. Seen just about every movie he's ever done.
I really can't even describe this movie. It's just a complete mess. The acting is atrocious, the script is atrocious and the script is atrocious.
Pacino has a very weird accent and speaks like he's drugged throughout the movie. Karl Urbans performance is not much better. I really don't know what the hell Brittany Snows character does in the movie, there's no reason why a reporter should follow the two detectives (one of which is retired) out in the field on a serial killer case.
Somehow nothing feels right in this movie. The cast, the story, the villain. Really disappointing for a lifelong fan of Pacino.
I gave it four stars because I like serial killer movies and because Al Pacino is in it, otherwise 1 star.
Not for me
I like James Corden. He seems like a really genuine person when I've seen interviews with him on other shows.
I also liked the first few episodes of The Late Late show with James Corden. Thought he would bring something different to the genre. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The more I watched, the more I hated the show. It's just unfunny in my opinion. The monologue is unfunny, the sketches are unfunny, the interviews are mostly cringe worthy.
I wanted to like this because I like Corden as a person, but it seems like he's caved into the demands of CBS to make this show as cookie cutter as possible. I wanted something new and original and was disappointed!
Feels like a commercial
Thought this was going to be an insightful look into the lives of bodyguards. Got 6 minutes into the movie and had to turn it off.
The first guy talking about how motherfucking tough he is and how his company is the best in the world was laughable. Felt like a commercial for his company to be honest.
I like Kim Coates as an actor, but as the narrator in this he was god awful and cringe worthy.
