Goofs

The order for all hands to man battle stations is given and Jason asks why the sailor stopped using the grinder. As a Master Chief, he would know a command to man battle stations would divert the crew from other functions. See more »

10 for emotion, 1 for accuracy
25 January 2019 | by MiketheWhistleSee all my reviews

The other reviews cover just how inaccurate the show material is. I never served on a sub, but even my surface time allowed me enough to have to keep saying this is a drama not a documentary over and over. If you ignore the errors, this is definitely one of the most moving tv shows you'll ever watch.

(As a general comment on CBS and the number of shows they have that relate to the Navy, they truly give a good impression of what it's like to serve. With the number of shows being ncis, ncis la, seal team, magnum, hawaii 50, and likely several I haven't watched, the errors that are very basic is annoying. With that many shows they can't come up with one tech consultant that can screen away some of these errors is annoying. Some I guess are allowed for shooting ease, but some others are simply too big. For example, on H50 having a Marine say they were corpsman is completely wrong wrong wrong and anyone that served in the Marines and Navy would know that right off. In this ep someone else already covered the ways that tube could be opened right off make sense to me being ignorant of the particulars. So come on CBS, try vetting some of this stuff with a Vet!!!!)
