Payton reevaluates his life after a reckoning, but when a window of opportunity opens, he grapples with a big decision about his political aspirations.
I admit it; I love this episode, it's reasonably good and it establish a promising season 2, the characters interact with each other in a unique way and I enjoy every single twist of the episode.
The problem is this is not a season finale episode, at least not a good one. The episode starts with a time jump which is just by itself a total sin. I know a lot of shows do this, but they were wrong too. I know everything got messy in the last two episodes, so the writers couldn't figure it out a way to continue in that timeline but they could have end there. Probably show some clip of this last episode to give a cliffhanger.
This episode doesn't develop any problem of the first seven episodes to solve because those problems are left behind. There's nothing at risk for most of the characters. Their lives are not perfect, but they are not bad ether.I admit it; I love this episode, it's pretty good and it establish a promising season 2, the characters interact with each other in a unique way and I love every single twist of the episode. But that is just my opinion.
