Trivia

The way Huey and the others walk down the dark stairway is done in a similar fashion to how they did so at the supposedly haunted castle in the Original DuckTales (1987) episode "Hotel Strangeduck", only with Huey holding a torch instead of Scrooge holding a match to light the way. See more »

Goofs

Downy McDuck And Fergus McDuck, is Scrooge McDuck Parents, which means they are Donald grandparents(odd they don't recognize that launchpad isn't Donald), and the triplets great-grandparents, but this is not presented in the episode at all at any point, even though Dewey(blue) is looking for information about their mom. Quotes

Huey Duck: [to Dewey, about the bag of clothes] How do you know this is Mom's?

[realizes what he's saying]
Dewey Duck: Okay. You know, hearing it out loud it comes off WAY worse than it sounded in my brain.
Huey Duck: [furiously] HOW could you keep this from us?
Dewey Duck: I was trying to protect you from a potentially devastating revelation!
Huey Duck: [suspiciously] Or you just kept it ...

Nice character piece
6 August 2018 | by jwwalrath-227-85487See all my reviews

Although I miss the presence of a genuine threat or antagonist, I thought this episode did a great job with the characters. Dewey deals with keeping a big secret from his brothers and Scrooge deals with his unapproving father. I felt all the players were handled really well and that this was a great look at familial relationships.
