I want more!
7 January 2019 | by Sleepin_DragonSee all my reviews

I really want more Dark Heart, even if this very good first series didn't get the ending I'd hoped for. After the brilliance of the middle story it felt like it was building up towards something, when in reality it fell a little bit flat. I thought DC Chancellor was building towards something, that never happened, I thought we'd get a reveal about his parents, but we got another carrot.

The story once again was a little muddled, and difficult to understand, this episode was saved by the acting, Tom Riley outstanding once again, Charlotte Riley and Paul Kaye were great, but standout performance was Karen Henthorn, I thought she was magnificent.

Paul Kaye's wig, did that come from the props for an eighteenth century historical drama, that was not a good idea.

So it ended on a flat note, but I want more. 6/10
