Goofs

Mara tells Paul she needs a fancy dress and a gun. When she appears in the reverie, she is wearing the dress but not carrying the gun or even a purse. When she talks to Rachel, both her hands are empty, yet similar to how the Angels on Charlie's Angels were able to produce guns while wearing bikinis, she produced a gun and ganked the 4 gun thugs. This was the second episode that this show really needed.
7 June 2018 | by digimonkey2See all my reviews

I watched the pilot episode of the show with very high expectations. The premise is promising - virtual reality but with a new twist And i recognized three actors including the lead that I really liked in many previous roles.

Sadly, my expectations were not met. None of the actors seemed comfortable in their roles, and the plot was barely engaging. Looking back, I see that a lot of time was spent on exposition that was necessary given the complexity of the premise

So I've been waiting for this episode all week, knowing that it was going to make or break the series for me. And lo and behold, everything that disappointed me about the pilot was out standing in this episode. Characters and their back stories were developing nicely, and the main episode plot line was well written and acted.

And so I am very much looking forward to episode three. I'd be happy if it was just as good as this one, but I'm hoping it will be even better.
