Storyline

In 2016 during a dangerous mission in Aleppo Georgie is annoyed by mouthy driver Maisie Richards and is not best pleased when they are both posted to Nepal to offer help following an earthquake. Conditions are rudimentary with Milan Dhakal of the NGO Disaster Relief trying to rehouse orphans, one of whom, a little girl called Tara, is a useful helper. Georgie's animosity with Maisie continues whilst she finds herself attracted to Milan but she is trapped with him in rubble following an after-shock. Written by don @ minifie-1

Episode 3.1
12 October 2017 | by Prismark10See all my reviews

In the first episode, Lance Corporal Georgie Lane (Michelle Keegan) and her team are sent to a Nepalese village devastated by an earthquake.

It seems only one of them searched Google to find out all they can about Nepal, luckily in the village already was an engineer, Milan (Rudi Dharmalingam) who luckily spoke English.

Georgie was impressed by Milan but less so with a young soldier she was mentoring, Maisie (Shalom Brune-Franklin). Maisie defied orders, was rude, foolhardy and generally wound up Georgie.

The language in the first episode was earthy, despite the devastation I do not think I would want this unit to come to my rescue.
