I watched the first episode, then chunks of the second when it was re-run.
this third episode was the best yet IMO. it seems like the show is starting to hit its stride.
really like the slices of life depicted, the developing character stories and the real intimacy in the photography and several scenes.
also a huge lift to see Holly Hunter like she was in this episode; unpeeling her often-harsh, serious, intelligent, tough-to-crack exterior and revealing her exquisite beauty, sexuality and femininity. i don't think i felt like this about her since "Miss Firecracker." i hope this natural side of her continues to be exhibited.
very compelling start to this series. not sure where it's headed but it's starting to grab me. hard.
kudos to the creator, writers, production team and _amazing_ ensemble of actors.
so far, so good!
