Goofs

The list of 'Variant Spellings' has already been written on the whiteboard prior to this scene, and remains unaltered by any character in this scene. It depicts words that vary from the North American spelling. Initially, we see the 'Y' in the word 'ANALYSE' is incorrectly underlined in red. Minutes later, we see the letter 'S' in the word 'ANALYSE' is now correctly underlined in red, after that particular variance is referenced by 'Ernie'. See more »

Quotes

Ted Kaczynski: You know, the thing I find most sad about you, James, is that you can run off and live in the woods, abandoning your wife and kids, study the manifesto down to the letter, but it will not make one jot of difference to anyone. And the best that you will ever be is a feeble imitation of me.

Entymology v etymology

This is a very sloppy error. It could be forgiven if it wasn't a scene and entire series about linguistics and the study of language.

It's difficult to fathom how this error wasn't spotted by the entire team of writers, editors and the director.

It is a huge close up of a name tag - totally unneeded.

I wonder if it was a joke by the propsmaker which somehow slipped through the net.

It is simply laziness by all involved.

Apart from this is it's great drama.

As a screenwriter my heart sinks.
