Charlie has a neurological disorder so strong emotions, especially joy, make him faint. He lives with his brother. Working as librarian gives him a quiet environment but then Francesca enters the library and his life.
My benchmark for bad movies was Stage Ghost, until I tried to sit through this one. Frankly, watching the Noltes slog through this poorly filmed script should be reserved for the interrogation of criminals. Yes, it's that bad. A cast of has-beens who simply mail-in their performances is a huge disappointment, too. Top this off with poor editing and you'll enjoy watching an egg boil more than this film.
