Sands, with a large shard of glass protruding from his leg, arrives at Brian's house while Brian's sister Rachel visits. After Brian and Rachel work together to repair Sands' leg and save his life, Brian and Sands go on an elaborate hunt for the man behind it all. Meanwhile, reluctant birthday girl Rebecca and the FBI investigate a chance kidnapping, which turns into anything but.
