Jack Reynor Joins Tom Holland In ‘Cherry’ From Russo Brothers
Jack Reynor has officially joined Tom Holland in the upcoming Russo Brothers film Cherry.The film based on the bestselling novel by the same name from author Nico Walker, a former Army medic who returned from Iraq with extreme un-diagnosed Ptsd and fell into opioid addiction and began robbing banks. Principal photography is set to start in Cleveland this fall.

From Anthony Russo and Joe Russo’s Agbo Films and Hideaway Entertainment, the film also stars Ciara Bravo (Red Band Society) Bill Skarsgard (It), Forrest Goodluck (The Revenant), Jeff Wahlberg (Dora and the Lost City of Gold), Michael Gandolfini (The Deuce) and Kyle Harvey (The After Party).

The two former students Toni Gaal and Sarah Tither-Kaplan, who claim they were sexually exploited at his acting school, Studio 4.

The Oscar nominated actor James Franco opened Studio 4 in 2014 through his production company, Rabbit Bandini Productions, In 2014 a 17 year old girl posted the screenshots of alleged message between her and Franco on Instagram.

In 2018 Franco wore a Time's Up pin in solidarity with the #MeToo movement, to protest harassment against women, nonetheles he drew criticism on social media but he denied the criticisms as inaccurate.?

Two women filed a lawsuit against James Franco on Thursday, accusing the actor of sexually exploiting them while enrolled at a now-defunct acting school that he hosted. Franco intends to “fully defend himself” and will also seek damages, according to a statement from Franco’s lawyer.

The two former students of Franco’s Playhouse West Studio 4 claim that the class was a front in which Franco and his male associates could take advantage of young female performers. They said that Franco asserted his influence as an instructor by offering them parts in movies that never materialized or were never released, even with the expectation that Franco would star in some of the projects.

In a lawsuit filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Toni Gaal state that Franco and his partners “engaged in widespread inappropriate and sexually charged behavior towards female students by sexualizing their power as a teacher and an employer by dangling the opportunity for roles in their projects.” The lawsuit, the details of which are reported in The New York Times, alleges that the bicoastal Studio 4, which Franco operated with his business partner Vince Jolivette, also listed as a defendant in the suit, was little more than a ploy for Franco and his male collaborators to assemble a pool of young actresses to then take advantage of.

HBO in October: Here’s Everything Coming and Going

HBO’s superhero series “Watchmen” is finally making its premiere on Oct. 20, joining a slew of other television shows and movies being added to the service just in time for Halloween.

The Home Box Office is also debuting “Catherine the Great” starring Helen Mirren on Oct. 21, and the sixth and final season of “Silicon Valley” on Oct. 27.

A handful of shows will have their season finales this month — on Oct. 13, Season 2 of “Succession” and Season 1 of “The Righteous Gemstones” have their season finales. Season 1 of “Our Boys” ends Oct. 7, and the third and final season of “The Deuce” comes to an end Oct. 28.

Hot on the heels of a shocking Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, the Casting Society of America announced the television and theatre nominations for the 35th Artios Awards, honoring the contributions of casting directors to the arts.
