Family photos from six years earlier show that Lisa and Bart were bitter rivals, always fighting each other. Ned Flanders: [screams] Grandma Flanders has passed.
Marge Simpson: Where are our kids?
Ned Flanders: Gone. Looks like once Grandma turned to dust, they took a powder. Sorry if that seems a little flip.
Marge Simpson: [hyperventilating] Oh, God, oh, God, oh, God.
Homer Simpson: Don't worry, sweetie. We'll call the local police, and they'll find our kids. We never used them till now, but I'm sure they're highly competent.

The Kids Are All Fight is a fantastic Simpsons episode with a very well developed storyline and loads of very funny scenes. It further develops on the younger Simpsons family, episodes that I always love, it's always fun to see these characters at different ages, whether it be past or future, it's refreshing and offers new storyline possibilities. These episodes normally have very sweet endings and I was disappointed that it didn't this time around, it just sort of ended, they normally have a sweet final line said by either Homer or Marge about how close they are as a family, I was certainly disappointed not to see that. I really liked how this episode took place right after the events of Lisa's First Words and even brought back some characters from that episode, I found this really interesting and would like to see it again, possibly with Lisa's Sax or And Maggie Makes Three. The Kids Are All Fight is a very enjoyable Simpsons episode.

Homer and Marge tell Bart and Lisa about their troublesome toddler years, as well as their first fight.
