The Sarkissians are anxious to unmask the crooked accountant who is cheating them but Chris points them towards an obnoxious innocent rather than the like-able culprit. Unfortunately there was something else in the case far more incriminating which Chris failed to spot and he is under pressure from Zoe to find evidence which will put the Sarkissians behind bars.

Frustrated by Chris's incompetence at gathering any damning information on the family Zoe gives him a wire concealed in a watch and sends him after loose cannon Tommi, an Armenian gangster just out of jail in the hopes that he will incriminate himself and the other gang members. Unfortunately Tommi's wild behaviour causes a rift between Arno and Ara and he is found murdered before Chris can get anything out of him. Furthermore the watch, which Tommi took from Chris, is now in Ara's possession.
