I do love dogs so the rating is not directed at them but at the people who selected the nominees!

When I saw the listing for the World Dog Awards, I was thrilled that the unsung heroes would finally be receiving recognition! Then came the first category TV Shows. I watched them name the nominees and when they finished I screamed 'WAIT YOU FORGOT SUZIE Q!' Suzie Q,who plays 'Jim' on the hit TV series, Mike and Molly! There are not that many dogs currently in starring roles on TV series so who ever was in charge of selecting nominees clearly DROPPED THE BALL!! And more than just be nominated, she should have won because besides having a great personality and handling the 'gender transition' very well, Suzie Q has also broken the old stereotypes. During the years of the 'Lassie' series, the role was always played by male dogs because it was said that females were 'too hard to train'! Well, Suzie Q/Jim proves them wrong with every smug turn of her/his head every week! The show should give her a special award and a public apology!
