Bad writing, poor timing, cliché and not worth the time
This show comes off very poorly and without purpose to really showing us anything. The characters are cliché and the name dropping is over the top, without giving us a look at what we'd like to learn.
Given the creators history and ability to tap into a past that has been written and glorified over the years, this show would have been more interesting if it was a retrospective show on a grimier era. Better yet, a show that goes into multiple genre's of music, over different era's, but has the poise to tie the shifting time frames into a cohesive, creative and interesting show. Something that tells us how the ties bind and the how circumstances create legend.
A hard watch. Low quality more akin to something on the WB or ABC Family, certainly not subscription service. Much better uses of time or even other shows to waste your time upon.
