Maggie Duval : Did the meds help you sleep?
Emma Duval : I don't need to sleep. I need to not be questioned, by the doctors and the police and you. I need to go back to normal life.
Maggie Duval : Honey, what you went through was horrific. I understand how you feel, but trust me, normal's gonna take some time.
Audrey Jensen : I stopped by to check on you.
Emma Duval : Yeah, thanks. My mom told me.
Noah Foster : Emma, there are no words. I mean, I'm sure there are, but I... I can't think of any to...
Audrey Jensen : We know what you're going through, and we're here if you need us.
Emma Duval : It's okay. I'm okay. Really. I'll see you in class.
Audrey Jensen : She's so not okay.
Noah Foster : Yeah, not even close.
Sheriff Clark Hudson : How's Emma?
Maggie Duval : The doctor says she's in shock; let her work through it. I'm trying, but it's terrifying.
Sheriff Clark Hudson : I know. We brought in more officers, and I'm working with your cell provider and social media sites that this guy was using to contact her.
Maggie Duval : Can you trace back the messages?
Sheriff Clark Hudson : Not yet. But if he tries to reach out again, we're gonna be there to track him.
Emma Duval : [entering] Don't.
Maggie Duval : Emma.
Emma Duval : He'll know. And then he'll punish me and someone else I care about will die.
Sheriff Clark Hudson : I know you're scared, all right? We've been doubling our efforts to find this guy and to keep you safe.
Emma Duval : That's what you don't understand. It's not me that I'm worried about; it's all of you.
Piper Shay : Emma, I know you're going through hell but you're going to survive this.
Emma Duval : You know what? Maybe it's actually better if I don't.
Piper Shay : Don't think that.
Emma Duval : He said that it ends with me so, let's just skip ahead to the ending.
Piper Shay : You can't let this sadistic bastard win. If you're the key to all of this then you have to find a way to fight back.
Emma Duval : I did, and he sliced Will in half right in front of me.
Emma Duval : I don't know if I have any fight left.
Piper Shay : Yes you do, because you come from a family of survivors. Your mom, your dad, and now you. Don't forget that.
