About an epic romance between a human girl and an alien boy when he and others of his kind are integrated into a suburban high school 10 years after they landed on Earth and were consigned to an internment camp.
Stitchers follows Kirsten, who has been recruited into a government agency to be "stitched" into the memories of people recently deceased to investigate murders and mysteries that otherwise would have gone unsolved. Cameron, a brilliant neuro-scientist, assists Kirsten in the secret program headed by Maggie, a skilled covert operator. The program also includes Linus, a bio-electrical engineer and communications technician. Camille, Kirsten's roommate and a computer science grad student, is also recruited to assist Kirsten as a "stitcher".Written by
On September 15th, 2017, the show was officially canceled by Freeform after three seasons, presumably due to low ratings though Freeform gave no official reason. A large fan campaign was launched on Twitter not long after with the full support of the cast and crew to bring back the show. A petition was made and fans tweeted emails of higher-ups at Freeform as well as Freeform's Feedback page on their website. Fans also contacted other networks, specifically SYFY and TheCW, to get them to pick the show up for a fourth season. Whether this campaign is successful or not has yet to be determined. See more »
The show is watchable,, with nice new idea but they gotta write A more thrilling, catchy and intriguing crime stories to be solved..
So i'v seen the pilot ,, and the idea of the series is fresh , the plot in the beginning was somehow disoriented, things moved really fast from some flashbacks to a girl being a student.. suspension .. to a Lab .. all of that felt like emotionless .
the episode picked itself up when the idea of casting into someones memory was visually presented to us,, but still it didn't feel that intriguing or catchy ,, i mean maybe the story of this episode individually wasn't that good .. and didn't actually get much time from the episode (like less than 20 minutes), so i'm gonna watch the next episode to see what to be changed !!
The one nice grabbing thing i sensed in the episode is the bantering the funny chemistry between Kirsten and Cameron ,, it felt like change of the static scenery in such a still pilot.
The Cast was fine,, mostly new actors ,, Emma Ishta, Kyle Harris.. Allison Scagliotti was in Warehouse13 and on couple other shows but they're all lead by Salli Richardson-Whitfield from Eureka :D i love her .. anyway they're kinda nearly unrecognizable to me from anywhere else (which looks good for the show, meeting new characters and all) ..
Overall ,, the show is watchable ,, but they gotta make the stories in the episodes have more thrill ,, and why not maybe spread a bigger plot over the series and not just a story of Kirsten's dad ...so i'm not yet impressed and i gotta see what they'v got to show in the 2nd episode.
