At the same time suspected paedophile Dale Barge is murdered and pictures of Lizzie are found at his flat. Young Kevin Garvey leaves care but goes to stay with his grandparents, rather than inadequate mother Niamh and stepfather Daniel, whom he blames for himself and his sisters going into care. An over zealous Social Worker?
9 March 2020 | by Sleepin_DragonSee all my reviews

A little girl is seemingly in danger from her dysfunctional parents, a Social Worker applies for the Child to be put into care, but the case fails. Louise Marsh the Social Worker in question is at the centre in another case, where a teen leaves care, and tracks down his mother and her new love, who was accused of inappropriate behaviour.

It's a well made, produced and directed episode, the characters are good. It's just a little bleak, the subject material is dark of course, but some of the content is a little sickening.

DI Rory Drennan is a bit of a moron, I am stunned he's able to dress himself, let alone pass an exam.

Claudia Blakley is very, very good, she is one mixed up Social Worker.

Very good, 8/10.
