So only girls with last names ending in -ez/-es/-iz say "bro" and are one of the guys?
This is the message promoted by this variant of the franchise. I swear it's really annoying. I don't blame the director so much as the director isn't always in agreeal with what the screenwriter does. But I blame the writer. This has to be one of the dumbest things. As a Latino, this is by far the dumbest of all the "Fast and Furious" movies (and because of this movie, by default the rest of them are stupid). It's not that "bro" is black or white slang, this time, but rather that only Latinas ending with -ez say that. I've been around Riveras and Delgados. Those girls are the biggest "bro"-sayers and the ones who. I'm talking the scene where Letty says "Are you serious, bro," because Tyrese Gibson's character is on the phone when they're doing business. Seriously? Is the screenwriter this stupid. Dumb movie. Skip this one. "Switch" is smarter than this (that's the movie with Ellen Barkin). She plays a character of Norman descent (that's the French who went into England) and she says "bro" :D Watch that for realism. Seriously, I find this so irritating.
