Storyline

You need a licence to drive a car but you don't need a licence to own a home! I Wrecked My House is a home renovation series that features homeowners who have literally wrecked their houses and need to be rescued. Comedian Steve Patterson tours the unhandy homeowners' houses and uncovers their ridiculous, outrageous and sometimes ingenious home repairs, with his laser-quick wit and hilarious teasing. In each episode, one homeowner gets an expert lesson - meant to lessen their helplessness - and then our expert renovators pull out the mess and replace it with something that never fails to blow the homeowners' minds. Hilarious Show with Good Reno Insights
29 August 2016 | by ufans48See all my reviews

This show is very funny. Steve Patterson is hilarious and has a knack for quick witted comebacks and zingers.

The show gives good/funny insights into what not to do with home repairs and the goofballs that do the shoddy repairs/home wrecking are equally funny.

Don't love all of the demo/renovations that they do and they often appear to be lacking a woman's touch. Also, some of the renovations could use some higher end finishes but that is the charm of this modest budget HGTV show (I hate those cr*p pressboard cabinets they always install).

It is always great to see the drastic contrast and the look on the owners faces when they see their dump turned into something liveable.

Great show hope it gets renewed!
