Sex & Nudity

  • When busting into a guy's apartment whom previously meeting in the movie, you see posters in his apartment. One of the naked back and butt of a woman and another showing a woman's chest, her shirt is partially open but no nudity is shown in this one.
  • Sandra Bullock is shown in a bra in one scene.
  • A woman kisses a man in an almost-suffocating way in a bar.
  • Prostitutes are shown wearing very skimpy clothing in a scene.
  • Mild to graphic sexual references and jokes.

Violence & Gore

  • A female police officer headbutts a thug, knocking him out (he falls backwards), grabs his gun and shoots another thug in the chest, leaving a large red stain as he falls forward to the floor.
  • A man shoots another man tied to a chair in the head and we see a lot of blood spray out the back of the head.
  • A woman tries to do a tracheotomy on a man that is choking and creates a fountain of blood after cutting his throat and inserting a straw; a pancake pops out of his throat before he goes away in an EMT vehicle.
  • A backpack explodes with a live grenade inside, blowing up men off screen (we see other men with bloody faces and other injuries).
  • A woman watches as her car is totally destroyed by an explosion with smoke and tall flames; an elderly man had just gotten behind the wheel and we hear that he died.
  • Two female police officers with guns drawn find a group of men with guns drawn in a warehouse and the men tie the women to chairs with rope while one man pulls out a collection of a dozen knives in a folding cloth holder; he removes an oyster knife, jams it into the thigh of one of the women and we see some blood as she gasps; the man walks away and the second woman scoots her chair around, pulls the knife out of the other's leg, cuts her own ropes and replaces the knife in the thigh after two tries while the injured woman shouts in pain; when the man returns, the free woman pulls the knife out of the other woman's leg and cuts the man's leg (we briefly see a streak of blood), the other woman then tips her chair over so the man falls to the ground, another bad guy appears, the free woman throws a knife into his chest and takes his gun, she points it at the first man who holds a knife to the throat of the woman tied to the chair, the woman headbutts him and knocks him unconscious.
  • A woman shoots a thug twice in the groin (we see blood).
  • A police officer chases a running crook and she throws a watermelon to knock him down.
  • A police officer and her partner hold a man over a fire escape railing by his feet, drop him on top of the hood of his truck with a crash, and he dents the hood (he is unharmed).
  • We hear that a criminal was shot and stuffed into his car trunk as the camera cuts to his face with closed eyes while he is on a morgue table and we see a large forehead bullet hole filled with dried blood; a doctor picks up the man's tongue from a bowl with tongs and it looks like gray rubber.
  • A man has several cigarette burns on his inner forearm from previous torture and we later hear that the man was shot and coma induced (we see him in the hospital with a tube in his nose, but no wound is visible).

Profanity

  • 158 uses of "fuck" and its derivatives, multiple uses of "shit", as well as other language that most surely will offend some. Foul language and swearing is heard literally from the first minutes to the last minutes in this movie, it is constant and unrelenting .
  • One use of cunt which was used by a woman in the background, and she said 'kiss my cunt, you twat'. (Only in Extended/Unrated Version)
  • Agent Mullins is a member of an extremely dysfunctional family, virtually all with very foul mouths. When the two agents visit agent Mullins' family home, they are met with anger, bitterness and foul language because in the recent past she had arrested her own brother. He had since been released.
  • Three uses of the middle finger.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The main plot of the film revolves around an FBI agent and police officer trying to track down and stop a drug cartel.
  • Bags of cocaine are shown about three times before being confiscated by police.
  • Adults are shown drinking liquor in a nightclub, as well as smoking cigarettes in other scenes.
  • A man is seen smoking a marijuana cigarette and is chased and stopped by a police officer. He is found with a bag of cocaine in his back pocket.
  • One extended scene takes place at a bar and the two agents smoke cigarettes and get wasted drunk to the point of vomiting and blacking out.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A female police officer enters an interrogation room and throws a phone book in the criminal's face. She then removes all the bullets from her weapon but apparently puts one back inside (we later learn it was palmed), points the gun at the perpetrator's groin and pulls the trigger with each question, sending him into screeching shouts.
  • Some scenes may be intense.
  • The tracheotomy scene is very bloody.
