A throwback to the paranoid political thrillers of the 1970s, The Incidental follows Jake, an idealistic young journalist, as he investigates an intriguing lead, uncovering a conspiracy that just might include some of the city's most influential power-brokers. Did You Know?
There is a minimalist painting of vertical black lines, hanging on the wall of Jake's apartment when it's first seen. Towards the end of the film the painting has turned into one of jagged, intersecting lines. This is a reference to the director's first short film, Parallels (2008). See more
