Trivia

John Goodman's character (who is the Vice Dean of Air Conditioning Repair School) puts on a hat that says "Kelvin & the Zeros" while he mentions heading to band practice. This is likely a nod to the fact that Kelvin is a scale of temperature measurement, and 0 degrees Kelvin is absolute zero: the point at which heat ceases to exist. (0 K is about -273 C or -460 F) See more »

Goofs

In the library scene where Brita meets Subway, he has circled a paragraph from George Orwell's 1984. He then goes on to quote a different passage from 1984, which is clearly meant to be the one he has circled. See more »

Quotes

Troy Barnes: Vice Dean Laybourne. You have a beard. And a ponytail.
Vice Dean Laybourne: I'm going through some stuff right now, Troy. Don't worry about it.

Blatant corporate shilling for "Big Sandwich" aside...
17 February 2019 | by soundphurySee all my reviews

An episode that rails against the inhumanity of corporations taking over people's lives... while probably making a few bucks in corporate advertising dollars at the same time... how "meta" is that? Very, if "meta" is now a euphemism for "hypocritical".

Shirley/Pierce/Britta/'Subway' storyline: A

Jeff/'Kim' storyline: B-

Abed/Troy 'pillow/blanket-fort' storyline: B
