Full of mystery and atmosphere and batsh*t craziness.
8 September 2013 | by gwilkie01See all my reviews

Even though all the characters are barely likable and woefully paper thin and the dialogue is consistently stilted, the mystery grips your attention (well, at least my amazing attention) and keeps the majority of the movie entertaining.

Of course found footage films are now ubiquitous, but this style just *works* perfectly for this movie. You want to know what happens to these folk. And you're on the journey with them. You cannot help but feel empathy for the danger they are in.

It's atmospheric and at times incredibly creepy. Watch in a dark room with the sound loud or headphones jacked in. It will keep you glued as answers/questions come thick and fast. Plus it's a little mind bending. Which is always nice.
