Fiction) Dr Yael Livne, 35 year old attractive is a senior resident in Obstetrics is on her last night duty at the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, before leaving for a 2 year fellowship program in Philadelphia. As the short film begins Yael is awarded a plate from her chairman and Hospital's director. Moreover she will be presenting her device at the prestigious SMFM meeting in Chicago. 'This invention', she claims, 'will prevent almost cases of fetal distress in labor'. The junior resident on duty, Dr. Husseini (33), has only recently started his training and is Yael subordinate. During Yael's, Husseini is called upon to examine a primigravid woman due to fetal distress. Rivkah (25) and her husband Saul (27), ultra-orthodox Jewish couple, assert they would prefer many children. Moreover, their Rabbi sent an sms to refuse C section. Though Husseini and Nira (40) the midwife push for a decision to operate Rivkah, Yael prefers to wait and even goes to take a nap. Husseini tells her that he thinks she is making a mistake but Yael reproaches him he is overstepping his place. Too late, Yael agrees to operate Rivka. This risks Yael future and Career.
