  • Splatalot is a hilarious medieval-themed physical game show geared to the tween audience, featuring an extreme obstacle course with heaps and loads of splats and spills. Each episode features a different group of thrill-seeking teen contestants, dubbed Attackers, competing in three hilarious rounds: Cross the Moat, Escape the Stockade, and Capture the Crown. The Defenders of Splatalot, an international squad of medieval-themed gladiators, do their best to protect the castle from the Attackers - leaving only one to be crowned King or Queen of Splatalot.

Synopsis

  • Splatalot is a medieval-themed physical game show for kids. Each episode features a different group of thrill-seeking teen contestants, dubbed Attackers, competing in three hilarious rounds: Cross the Moat, Escape the Stockade, and Capture the Crown. The Defenders of Splatalot, an international squad of costumed gladiators, do their best to protect the castle from the Attackers leaving only one to be crowned King or Queen of Splatalot.

    Splatalot! is produced by Toronto-based Marblemedia. It is hosted by Jason Agnew and Matt Chin in North America, by Dick (Richard McCourt) and Dom (Dominic Wood) in Europe, and by Kayne Tremills and Scott Tweedie in Australia.

    Each episode features a different group of 12 thrill-seeking teen contestants, Attackers, competing against not only the obstacles and the clock, but also the Defenders - an international squad of costumed gladiators who are tasked with protecting the castle from the Attackers, leaving only one to be crowned King or Queen.

    Season 2 features themed episodes, including YTV's "Celebrity Splatdown" featuring the cast of Life with Boys (2011) and Mr. Young (2011), Parents vs. Kids, Teachers vs. Kids and Night Assault episodes.

    The series airs on YTV in Canada (English), TELETOON in Canada (French), CBBC in the U.K., ABC3 in Australia, as "Spetterslot" on TROS in the Netherlands, and in much of Europe and elsewhere on Disney XD. Distribution and sales handled by Distribution360.
