My family loves Bluebloods
7 February 2011 | by nancyd-971-367006See all my reviews

Finally, a cop show that is interesting about a family and not just about the crimes that keep them employed. Not only is it about a family but it is about a family that is more normal than anything I have seen on TV in 20 years or more. all of the characters are flawed but they love each other and accept that they are flawed. It is not over acted but genuine and really has a strong family message. The dad (Tom Selleck) and the grandfather are both very concerned about their family and are not seen as idiots but as true parental models in this show. There are not people jumping in and out of bed with each other and the crimes that are shown are not so graphic that my 13 year old cannot watch. They talk about the evidence but don't subject us to views of all of it. Mostly, we love it because it is about a family and we can relate to it. I am so thankful for some good TV for a change with so much crap out there now. Thanks for making something I can watch on a regular basis.
