Five strangers with nothing in common are forced to come together at a remote roadside eatery because of a road closure. They place their orders with the diner's omniscient owner, who seems to know everything about them... and claims he is Jesus.

The signs on the wall advertise various kinds of soda for sale, though he only sells water, and as the film progresses, many kinds of candy appear on the counter, and the food moves around for each position of the camera. When looking at the young women, there is a pie before the tray of fruit, but when facing the older man, there is a tray of fruit but no pie to the left of it. See more
