Storyline

Won over by Robbie's businessman facade, Carla enters the factory alone with him. While delivering her sales pitch, Robbie pulls out a gun, forces her to get rid of the builders around the factory, and leaves her tied to her office chair with her mouth gagged with tape. Carla tries to scream for help through the tape on her mouth but no one can hear her through the factory walls. Robbie then lures Hayley to the factory and ties her up too. Tony arrives to the horror of the tied up pair, and proudly surveys his bound and gagged ex-wife. Removing the tape from her mouth to allow her to speak, Tony tells Carla that he plans to murder her and Hayley, and no one knows he is there. Therefore he will not be stopped and they won't be rescued. Written by CoronationStreet

Trivia

Alison King filmed the majority of the scenes of the 'Siege Week' tied up on a chair with her mouth gagged, taped shut with duct tape. She commented "We were tied up and gagged for a week and a half. I was gaffa-taped for a little while and tied up for most of it. My wrist was sore at the end! It was a different experience anyway, acting for two weeks with your hands tied behind your back on a chair. Kym Marsh was like, 'You loved it!'" See more »

Goofs

When Tony Gordon arrives, Carla Connor is tied to a chair and gagged with gaffer tape. Tony rips the tape from Carla's mouth, which causes some of her hair to fly into her mouth. The next shot we see her in only seconds later, she has no hair in her mouth. As her hands are tied behind her back on the chair, she could not have pulled it out herself, and we do not see or hear her spitting it out. See more »

Quotes

Tony Gordon: [Tony kneels beside Carla's face. Grabs the side of the gaffer tape gagging her mouth] This might hurt.
[He rips the tape off her skin. She moans in pain]
Tony Gordon: Well, that's at least three layers of fake tan.
Carla Connor: [finally able to speak, yells] What do you want?
Tony Gordon: Well, I didn't come to all this trouble to host a staff meeting...
Hayley Cropper: Where did you come from? How did you get in?
Tony Gordon: Don't worry. No one saw me, no one knows I'm here, I'm quite certain we won't be disturbed.
