it is not easy to make a film that never changes its location. Everything happened in a 24 hours of convenient store late in one night. It was able to keep me interested for the entire length of the film.
It has a few cliché funny moments, you can just predict what is going to happen next.
I liked the moments when the backgrounds change one piece at a time, it was quite unique. I had to rewind them just to see them to happen again.
Comparing with early Chinese mainland films, this one is different. it doesn't have any pro-communist propaganda. All the actors really know how to make you laugh.
