As a result of Jane's tip-off, the police bring Ella in for questioning about Sydney's murder. Naturally, Ella downplays the tensions she had after meeting Sydney and of her fallout. Meanwhile, Lauren is torn between going on a shopping date with Riley for her wedding and impressing her new boss Wendi who just set her up on a "date." A stunned Jonah is accused of stealing a diamond necklace from a mansion he videotaped for a Realtor, but he later becomes even more upset after Ella mentions seeing a similar necklace in David's apartment who continues to set his sights on stealing more items from Beverly Hills houses to pawn for cash. Elsewhere, a jealous Violet maliciously sabotages the job of another female Coal bartender so she can get closer to Auggie, as well as further advance up the chain of command. Written by matt-282

Katie Cassidy a visual treat
31 December 2015 | by RavenGlamDVDCollectorSee all my reviews

So, the Americans rely on the Nielsen ratings to determine the success of TV shows. Well, the Nielsen families didn't watch MELROSE PLACE 2.0, instead they watched whatever shows Nielsen families watch, and word came back to the studio execs and TV tycoons "Nope, guys, cancel this show" and the studio execs and TV tycoons downed yet another strawberry daiquiri and pulled the plug on poor old MELROSE PLACE 2.0, and I could strangle every Nielsen family right down to Uncle Nills down there in the cellar doing what Nielsen family members do keeping them away from thoroughly entertaining TV shows, and I can just hope that the studio execs and TV tycoons drown in their strawberry daiquiris, the whole damned lazy lot relying on their stupid inadequate laughable would-you-believe-America-falls-for- that Nielsen ratings!

I am currently watching the 5th episode of the series. I am a very big MELROSE PLACE fan, it sure beat the pants off BEVERLY HILLS 90210 back in the good old days. Came DVD, came RavenGlamDVDCollector, and I was purchasing the original MELROSE PLACE as the seasons were released a couple of years ago, 2011 I think, and I knew about the series revivals 90210 and MELROSE PLACE, so, when I got Internet in 2013, I scoured for the new version but couldn't find it on DVD and had to call in expert help. Let me just say that the average Wikipedia and IMDb report stated that this was a failed TV show with unlikeable characters, but as is my wont I decided to see for myself. And I am damned glad I did. Believe me, on some other fronts I have seen the error of my ways as I've squarely banged into bummers I'd been warned against, but this TV show, 5 down, 13 to go, and I'm enthralled. From the start, right through the first disk, today started with the second.

Katie Cassidy as Ella Simms is a visual feast. Ashlee Simpson as Violet Foster is another visual feast, and together they have made it one of my top-ranked favorites.

Notice the way the episode starts. We kick off with Ella rummaging through her closet like a picky female finch looking for the hottest outfit which she pairs with the cruelest torture instrument shoes she can possibly find, and it really makes you wanna watch the hot flighty bird as she cavorts through yet another episode.

She is the epitome of what RavenGlamDVDCollecting is all about!

It is my honor to be the guy doing the synopses for this series, do check them out right here on IMDb. One added every week till the episodes run out. I'm of course not allowed to have any personal opinion there, so I'm adding this entry to just shout out my devoted fan-boy admiration for the long-legged lovelies (and is there ever a great treat for leg lovers towards the end, with Lauren and Riley showing off as sun-bunnies on a chaise lounge!) and I can just moan and groan that this show was dropped prematurely.
