After returning to Earth in Episode 7 ("That's All There Is"), astronaut Dick Gordon comments, "I'd just like to go to PeTe's and get me some Cajun barbeque!" PeTe's was an actual Cajun barbeque restaurant on Texas State Highway 3, just outside of the entrance to Ellington Field, in Houston. See more
While in quarantine at the Lunar Receiving Lab, Dick Gordon mentions wanting to "go to Pe-Te's, for some Cajun food and a couple of beers". The Apollo 12 mission took place in November of 1969. Pe-Te's Cajun Barbecue House, while indeed a popular spot for astronauts, did not open until nearly 10 years later, in the summer of 1979. See more

Warner Brothers remastered the entire miniseries for re-release in time for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. It was enhanced to improve picture and sound quality, more saturated, and completely true widescreen. This new version was released both in Blu-Ray format and for streaming services. See more
