Storyline

Despite having paid the bill in full three weeks ago, Doris has received two overdue and one final payment before service shutdown notices in the meantime from the electric company. With proof of payment in hand, an incensed Doris deals with the officious Willard Jarvis at the electric company, he who stands by the non-payment as stated by the company's computer, the 1176B, which handles customer accounts. As Doris' encounter with Jarvis does not resolve the matter, she enters into a David vs. Goliath battle with the electric company, and a more specific David vs. Goliath's assistant battle with Jarvis, 1176B and 1176B's siblings, 1176A and 1176C. Doris gets some unexpected help in the matter, some appreciated, some not so much. Written by Huggo
