Did You Know?

This is the first episode of "24" that was originally aired when George W. Bush was not the President of the United States of America (Barack Obama was inaugurated 1/20/09). During that span there were six fictional U.S. Presidents on the show: David Palmer, John Keeler, Charles Logan, Wayne Palmer, Noah Daniels and Allison Taylor. In addition, there was a seventh, off-screen, President, Hal Gardner, who presumably took office when Charles Logan was taken into custody. See more »

The two planes would not have been able to crash regardless of being given fake air traffic control instructions that would cause them to do so. The aircraft would have been fitted with a device called TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) which would have alerted the pilots of the impending collision and advised them to take evasive action. Wow, Seventeen Hours to Go
1 July 2019 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

This has a great scene in it where first gentleman is being held by psychotic. He has been drugged with a kind of nerve freezing substance. He starts to get the feeling back in his hands. Meanwhile,, Jack has the African man and his wife. He and Tony are ready to hand him over. The Idi Amin type has the capabilities of destroying large parts of the U.S. with their little device unless the U. S. withdraws troops from the borders. Exciting episode.
