A Prehistoric Election
11 January 2017 | by JordanThomasHallSee all my reviews

Death is staring stranded astronauts Mac (Frank Aletter) and Hector (Jack Mullaney) in the face. Hector took a picture of the caveman Boss (Cliff Norton) and he discovers it to be black magic. Boss agrees to "a fair trial-- then death". The condemned come up with the idea of having the cave people hold an election for a new boss. The astronauts run Gronk (Joe E. Ross) whom they teach the art of the campaign speech. Boss sees the tribe buying into Gronk's campaign promises, and has Clon (Mike Mazurki) kidnap Gronk in the middle of the night. He is rescued and the election begins. With each candidate tied, their fate lies solely in the vote of an elderly cavewoman, Trong (the final screen appearance of Marie Blake/Blossom Rock who played Grandmama in The Addams Family).
