Trivia

Curiously, every instance of the word "Russian" was made inaudible in the Chinese version. No explanation was given as to why, although theories abound in the comments, ranging from China thinking viewers would be distressed by a Russian villain, trying to lend a courtesy to their longtime ally nation, or instead, trying to distance themselves from Russia, by obscuring all mention of it. The video footage of the Press conference where Tony revealed he was Iron Man was not the same footage seen in Iron Man (2008). Tony was holding blue cue cards when he said he was Iron Man. In this footage, he was not. See more »

Crazy Credits

There is a scene after the closing credits: Agent Coulson arrives in New Mexico and locates a crater in which lies the war hammer Mjolnir. This is in fact an alternate version of the same scene from Thor (2011). See more »

Alternate Versions

The mainland Chinese release obscures Vanko's nationality by reversing all Russian references on the soundtrack. For example, the word "Russia" comes out as something like "Ashar", and "Siberia" as "Ayuribias". The subtitles and the Mandarin-dubbed version simply delete these references altogether. See more »

Robert Downey Jr.
9 April 2018 | by KirpianuscusSee all my reviews

At first sigh, it is not exactly the expected part of series. because something missing. but the lead sin - a not realistic accent to the vulnerability of Tony Stark is saved by the genius of Robert Downey Jr., giving one of the most credible and nice character from Marvel universe. another good points - Don Cheadle as Lt. Rhodes, Scarlett Johansson as Romanoff and, sure, Mickey Rourke as a vilain who impresse more for its past story and for a sort of old fashion ambiguity. short, a nice film for not the fans of Marvel industry.
