Storyline

Betty is phoned by Sharon's worried mother. She reminds her of her own mother and discovers she's a lot like Sharon. She next calls her own mother. Julie admits George is staying at a sanitarium. Betty is worried about him and promises to come home immediately. When she's packing her bags, Sharon unsuccessfully tries to stop her. Meanwhile in Peyton Place, Paul tells his father he talked to Elliot. Calvin tells him he did the right thing testifying against Elliot. Allison goes ice skating with Norman and they run into Paul. They join him for lunch. Elliot joins them as well, which causes tensions with Paul. At the Harrington house, Leslie tells Rod his detective has found out where Betty is staying. Rod isn't glad with a detective spying on her. They are interrupted by a phone call from Julie. She tells Rod Betty will return to Peyton Place. Leslie warns him with their history together.
