Storyline

Elliot bonds with Allison when they talk about their love for writing. Later, Leslie offers Elliot a job at the mill, but he responses in-politely and refuses. Meanwhile, Laura resigns as Mike's secretary. Norman brags to Rodney that he has a date with Allison. Laura says to Mike she intends to make a world trip with his money. Allison asks Matt if she can use his archive to find information on Elliott. Elliot and Eli meet up with boarding house landlady Mrs. Hewitt. Elliott feels accused by her of his supposed murder on his wife. She apologizes and promises to make up with him. When she leaves, Elliott finds out his father thinks he actually did kill Elizabeth.
