Red scare fairy tale.
2 June 2016 | by searchanddestroy-1See all my reviews

This is definitely an anti red movie speaking of course of true events: the misery and escape tries of refugees from countries behind the Iron Curtain; in this episode it's Hungary. You could watch batches of this kind of stuff in the fifties and even the sixties. Hundreds of them. Good, yes, but nothing really new. Propagand stuff even if the material told here is not invented. I would never had wished to live in those countries during that time. So, don't expect anything terrific, but it remains an acceptable time waster. You can read the topic if you wish in the plot line. The Three Magee scheme is rather funny if not totally cheesy or unbelievable. Ideal for a Xmas program.
