When the Enterprise visits the planet Dramia, Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy is arrested on charges of genocide. 19 years ago, McCoy had visited the neighboring planet Dramia II, heading a mass inoculation program. Shortly after he left, the planet was ravaged by a plague epidemic which was blamed on his vaccines. There were few survivors. While McCoy is on trial, the entire crew of the Enterprise is infected with the same plague. McCoy has to both clear his name and discover a cure to the plague. Written by Dimos I

While McCoy manages to cure the crew members at the end of the story, Spock still accuses him of medical negligence. Spock mentions that McCoy has neglected to provide regular vitamin rations to the crew. The implication is that their ill health is the result of vitamin deficiency. The subplot is not continued in other episodes. See more »

You Can't Get a Break
1 April 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

Leonard McCoy helps one race, only to cause problems for another. Circumvention is necessary or he may face death or imprisonment for good. The simplistic nature of these cartoon entries makes it hard to attend to them. The animation is very weak, with little movement. The story lines don't seem very interesting, and the solutions seem to be a little too easy. Imagine an animated effort with some heart and effort.
