"Cobraaaaa!(cough, cough, cough)"
6 August 2009 | by jerekraSee all my reviews

I am not a huge fan of season three of Transformers. However I think that only human is a decent episode for a few reasons.

Basically a guy who wants to get rid of the autobots calls for the help of Cobra Commander, I mean Old Snake. Anyways, Cobra Commander, I mean old snake, uses this device to take the autobots out of their robot forms and turn them into humans.

OK, I know that one of the bad guys in this episode is called Old Snake, but it is obviously Cobra Commander from G.I.Joe. It is so obvious, I think they just did this as a joke for some reason although everybody knows that Old Snake is just Cobra Commander. But it is cool to see him in a transformers episode. After all Chris Latta was the voice of Starscream and Reflector from Transformers. So a great crossover idea, sort of.

The idea of autobots being turned human is quite good actually. If anything I thought that they would have used this idea earlier, after all in season 2 Spike was turned into a robot. So I expected there to be an episode where autobots were turned into humans.

Also, usually the artwork is bad in season three episodes and there is a lot of crazy traveling between space. But that does not happen in this episode. There are no decepticons at all in this episode. Pretty interesting. But the artwork for this episode is quite good.

I guess the fact that it is a season three episode and there are not any of my more favorite original transformers characters is what makes it lacking a little. But still this is probably one of the better season three episodes that I have seen. I recommend it especially to G.I.Joe and Transformers fans.
