While Daniel and Vala search for Merlin's anti-Ori weapon in Atlantis' library, Mitchell, McKay and Carter try to to dial the Ori Supergate in the Milky Way.
SG-1 learns that the whereabouts of Merlin's weapon (which should be able to defeat the Ori) is most likely on Atlantis, Daniel and Vala visit Earth's base team there. Meanwhile, its scientific top brain Dr. Rodney McKay is detailed back on the Odyssey with Lt. Colonels Sam Carter and Cam Mitchell, who are trying to reroute the super-Stargate through which they fear the Ori are about to send reinforcement ships, despite the danger of using nuclear explosions so close to a black hole. Daniel gets answers from the database, but figures out they don't come through a hologram but from an ascended Ancient: Morgan le Fay!
SG-1, with Vala accompanying the, arrive in Atlantis where Daniel hopes to get the location of Merlin's super-weapon from the city's library. When the information he seeks is too easily forthcoming, he suspects something is wrong and he's right - the holographic interface is anything but. The rest of SG-1 head off in the Prometheus to the edge of a wormhole where they hope to find a way to dial out using the Ori's supergate. Sam and Dr. Rodney McKay don't quite see eye to eye on how it should be done.
