Storyline

Scully and Mulder go to Cleveland to assist the local police in the investigation of a bizarre death. They've found the remains of a woman in her car but the body is in an advanced state of deterioration, even though she's only been missing for a short while. By the time Scully gets to the autopsy, there is no flesh left on the skeleton. Mulder sees similarities in this death and a series of deaths in another state where all of the victims had responded to a "Lonely Hearts" personal ad in their local newspaper. They now think the killer has moved on to Internet chat rooms to lure his victims. Written by garykmcd

Trivia

2shy was apparently supposed to air earlier in the season. 2Shy takes place in late August, and The X-Files: Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose (1995) (aired earlier) is supposed to take place sometime in September. See more »

Goofs

The first victim's car is a Nissan Micra. They were not sold in the US but were available in Canada. It's unlikely that the victim would have owned one and pretty much supports the fact that filming was done in Canada. See more »

As if it weren't hard enough for a chubby girl to get a date already...
6 December 2010 | by cleanfun-1See all my reviews

Now they have to be worried that their date is going to feast on their fat.

This is a great example of how man will say just about anything to get what they want. Show it to your daughters.

In this episode, only heavy girls need to be afraid, in the real world though, all girls need to be afraid.

Anyway, this is another non conspiracy episode. It doesn't add anything to the ongoing X-Files theme but can be viewed independently. Wouldn't want to watch this episode right before going to sleep.

So next time you're on a date and he's telling you everything you want to hear, be suspicious!
