Did You Know?

There were a total of three spins that Wonder Woman would use to accomplish transformation. The first was spinning in slow-motion, which showed Diana slowly disrobing. This eventually proved too expensive to do every week and was nixed. The second was first used in the episode "Beauty on Parade" in which she spin quickly in a circle, followed by a thunderclap, a flash of light, and raising her outstretched arms over her head in a ballerina-like motion. Later the raising of hands over head was forgotten and Diana's arms remained simply outstretched. The first thunderclap change was used during a scene in which Wonder Woman is trying to sneak out of a room of sleeping beauty pageant contestants. See more »

Diana Prince: Perhaps if we could get one of our own agents into that beauty contest...
Major Steve Trevor: ...We might flush 'em out. Take a really beautiful girl, though. Someone with all the right qualifications.
Diana Prince: Well... I'd be willing to try...
Major Steve Trevor: Thanks, Diana. I'd know you'd do a wonderful job, but I'm afraid this calls for a really gorgeous girl, someone who looks great in a bathing suit.

just watch the grenade scene

Now that you are into wonder woman you can see that the production also saw that we had a few problems with the effects. the changing from Diana to wonder woman was laughable but now we do see some flash when she's turning and changing. Coming back from wonder woman to Diana is never shown.

There's something wrong with a military base, someone is trying to break into the facility and it's up to wonder woman to get into the base when some beauty contest is going on and she's sure that there are spies involved.

Most notorious is the fact that here wonder woman could catch a grenade and throw it back. Stil it's campy and cheesy whole throughout this episode.
