Third and final script by Gabe Kaplan
3 July 2016 | by kevinolzakSee all my reviews

"The Return of Hotsy Totsy" marked the third and final script contributed by star Gabe Kaplan, following the third chapter of "And Baby Makes Three" and first chapter of "There's No Business." Best of all, it provides some closure on the all too brief career of female Sweathog Rosalie 'Hotsy' Totsy, here seemingly living up to her nickname by dancing as a stripper at the Torso Trap to support herself as a single mother. Imagine the Sweathogs attending their very first strip club, only to recognize 'Miss Honey Pie' as their former classmate, the daughter of a reverend. She dropped out of Buchanan two years before after getting married at age 17, and is now the mother of a six month old baby. Mr. Woodman recognizes her, not from Buchanan but dancing at the Torso Trap! Debralee Scott followed up her success on WBK with a co-starring role on MARY HARTMAN, MARY HARTMAN. Her fellow stripper Olga is played by Marlise Pieratt, quite a funny eyeful in her come ons to an embarrassed Gabe: "I'm married" "so am I!" This was the third season finale, after which the series would never be the same, with both Kotter and Barbarino frequently absent during the last year.
