Due to a water shortage Chris cannot afford to wait any longer for the three Andrews wagons that are to join the wagon train. Duke is sent to guide the wagons by a dangerous route to join the train further down the line. Chris feels Andrews may be unwilling to take the alternate route due to his past experience in the area.. When Duke finds them, he encounters resistance from the three men in the group.
